Day 2 Pictures

Most of these pictures are from our tour of "La Moneda," the presidential palace. Although the president no longer lives there, it still serves as her office.

Day 2, Part I

Just woke up and am about to go eat breakfast and then go to a two hour orientation. After the orientation, it should be a fun day going around the city.

Day 1

After a long but not too bad plane trip, I arrived in Santiago, Chile. We are staying at a nice apartment-style hotel in the city.

We went to the top of one of the city's tallest hills to take in the sight of a vast city of over 6 million people. The train that took us to the top was constructed in 1925.

After that, we took the gondola to the bottom of the hill.
